Adventures in August

The girls being silly, I love them! Tim took them down the creek, last week. They loved it. We went over some rules before they left.
Rule 1: Do not drink the water from the creek.

Well that was pretty much it. Tim was with them and they had their life vests on so I felt safe.

The two photos below are looking down the creek from our back yard.

Nana had a crazy idea to camp outside on our deck. I would have done it when I was little but when it got time to fall asleep two little girls were knocking on the back door. The did stay out there and watched a Shirley Temple movie but that was it. :) What a fun Nana!
Last weekend the girls and I went with family to pick huckleberries. Mylah was my biggest help. We only picked for about an hour and a half and almost got a gallon. We have already enjoyed our fair share of huckleberry pancakes.
