So I have no pictures to post but just some random thoughts.
- Happy that Tim is does not have to leave right now to fight fires in California.
- Sore because my neck is out of whack and I look ridiculous when I try to turn it.
- Tired from thinking about how much homework I have to do.
- Upset at myself for not being able to work out this morning w/ the whole neck issue.
- Excited that this Saturday is the last day of soccer!!!!!!!
- Angry at myself for not reading God's word more.
- Hopeful that I will because I plan to buy a bible study for myself.
- Thankful for my friends.
- Even more thankful for my family.
For the first time I am finally really searching who I am. More so, who does Jesus want me to be. Certain struggles I have that should just be so simple to figure out. I am like that wrinkled shirt that is so wrinkled even sticking it in the dryer wont help. I just gotta keep going. I know with God these wrinkles will start to fade. Also knowing they will not all disappear. For what will keep me striving to be a light for Jesus if I was perfect. I know that people let us down, I myself have let others down that I truly care about. What I do know is that Jesus is love. He is the most compassionate one ever, and he will never let us down no matter what we do.
Here is a quote for the day:
The persecuted are happy because they are being processed for heaven. Persecution is to the Christian what "growing pains" are to the growing child. No pain, no development, No suffering, no glory, No struggle, no victory. No persecution, no reward.
Lord just help me to keep developing for your honor even if it is painful.
